Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 6 months work experience
  • data entry and keyboard experience
  • proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • problem-solving abilities
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • capability to manage multiple systems and reference materials
  • reside in Miami, Florida for eligibility

Job Qualifications

  • CCS or Broker's license preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for goods entry into the US
  • provide excellent customer service
  • process specialized commodities for proper classification and duty preference applications
  • obtain correct classification of goods from databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs
  • perform data entry and process import-related documentation for submission
  • handle documentation for all participating government agencies
  • maintain compliance with record-keeping requirements
  • adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
  • collaborate with internal staff, departments, FedEx operating companies, customers, and government agencies
  • process agency brokerage shipments including remote filings
  • perform entry reconciliations and reviews
  • resolve customs-related issues
  • perform other assigned duties
