Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 months work experience
  • Data entry and keyboard experience
  • Ability to handle high volume of work
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • Must currently live in Miami, Florida
  • Ability to interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff and management at all levels

  • Knowledge of customs regulations and harmonized tariff schedules preferred
  • CCS and/or Brokers license preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • Experience with office equipment such as phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Process specialized commodities with proper classification and duty preference
  • Data entry and processing of import documentation for US Customs and PGAs
  • Maintain shipment documentation compliant with record-keeping requirements
  • Adhere to international import and export regulations
  • Work with internal staff, departments, FedEx operating companies, customers, and government agencies
  • Process agency brokerage shipments
  • Handle remote filings
  • Perform entry reconciliations and reviews as needed
  • Follow up on customs matters and resolve problems
  • Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
  • Perform other assigned duties
