Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months work experience
- Data entry and keyboard experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
- Experience with office equipment such as phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high volume of work
- Ability to handle time-sensitive work
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to use multiple systems and reference materials
- Must live within 50 miles of Memphis, TN
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high volume, time-sensitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with customs regulations and harmonized tariff schedules preferred
- CCS and/or Broker license preferred
Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by U.S. Customs and government agencies for goods entry
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Process commodities requiring specialized classification and duty preference application
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs
- Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for customs submission
- Handle all participating government agency filings
- Maintain and update shipment documentation per record-keeping requirements
- Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
- Work closely with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations companies, customers, and government agencies
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Perform entry reconciliations and reviews as needed
- Follow up on customs matters and resolve issues
- Handle remote filings
- Perform other duties as assigned
