Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • No prior industry experience required
  • Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
  • Data entry and keyboard skills required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to use multiple systems and reference materials
  • Must reside within 50-mile radius of Newark NJ

Job Qualifications

  • Data entry and keyboard proficiency
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications such as Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use multiple systems and reference materials
  • Good customer interaction skills

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for goods entry into the US
  • Provide impeccable customer service
  • Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various resources
  • Data entry and processing of import-related documentation
  • Maintain and update shipment documentation compliant with record keeping requirements
  • Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations
  • Work with internal staff, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high service levels
  • Process agency brokerage shipments
  • Handle remote filings
  • Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
  • Perform other assigned duties
