Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED required
  • minimum six months work experience preferred
  • data entry and keyboard experience required
  • working knowledge of MS Office and email applications

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • two years of business experience or two years of college credits preferred
  • working knowledge of customs regulations and harmonized tariff schedules preferred

  • experience processing high volumes of information
  • proficiency with MS Office and email applications

Job Duties

  • arrange for release of FedEx express shipments from customs custody
  • complete classification activities
  • process FedEx express caged shipments for timely release
  • perform audits and quality referral functions
  • analyze documentation to determine admissibility and customs release type
  • research customs entry reports and resolve errors
  • communicate with internal teams, customers, and government agencies
  • assist with nrtc weekly reviews
  • complete prior disclosures and QA referrals
  • contact customers to advise on duties and fees
  • complete classification of imported merchandise
  • produce daily performance reports
  • ensure compliance with customs regulations and contract specifications
