Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- No previous industry experience necessary but a minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Proficiency with MS Office and email applications using multiple screens and windows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to handle high-volume and time-sensitive workloads
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to use multiple computer systems and reference materials
- Must interact effectively with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management
Job Qualifications

- Experience interacting with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels
Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US
- Provide impeccable customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using various reference materials
- Perform data entry and processing of import-related documents for submission to US Customs
- Maintain shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
- Work with internal departments, FedEx operations, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and customers to ensure high service levels
- Process agency brokerage shipments and handle remote filings as needed
- Follow all government and organizational policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
