Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED
  • minimum 6 months work experience preferred
  • data entry and keyboard experience required
  • working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • organizational and interpersonal skills
  • problem solving skills
  • ability to handle high volume and time sensitive work
  • ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • ability to use multiple systems and reference material
  • ability to interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, staff, management, and departments

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation for US Customs and government agencies entry
  • provide impeccable customer service
  • obtain correct classification of goods for customs release
  • data entry and processing of import documentation
  • maintain shipment documentation compliance
  • adhere to international import/export regulations
  • work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • process agency brokerage shipments
  • handle remote filings
  • ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
  • perform other duties as assigned
