Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- No prior industry experience required
- Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle high volume of work
- Ability to manage time-sensitive assignments
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate multiple systems and use reference materials
- Effective interaction with external and internal stakeholders

- Experience interacting with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, management, and various departments
Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs references
- Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and PGAs
- Maintain and update all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements
- Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
- Collaborate with internal staff, other departments, FedEx operations, and customers to ensure high levels of service
- Process agency brokerage shipments and handle remote filings when necessary
- Follow all governmental and organizational policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
