Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months work experience
- Data entry and keyboard skills
- Proficient with MS Office and email applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage high volume and time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with multiple systems and reference materials
- Knowledge of customs regulations preferred

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Process commodities requiring specialized classification and duty preference
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various references
- Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs and participating government agencies
- Maintain and keep shipment documentation compliant with record keeping requirements
- Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations
- Work closely with internal staff, FedEx operating companies, customers, and government agencies to deliver high service levels
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Handle remote filings
- Perform entry reconciliations and entry reviews as needed
- Ensure compliance with all government and organizational policies
- Follow up on customs matters and resolve problems
- Perform other duties as assigned
