Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
  • provide impeccable customer service
  • obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOPs, tariff book, internet or customs
  • data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and participating Government Agencies
  • maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements
  • adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
  • work closely with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high service levels
  • process agency brokerage shipments
  • handle remote filings
  • ensure government and organizational policies are followed
  • perform other duties as assigned
