Job Requirements

- Minimum six months of work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
- Experience using office equipment such as phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for import entry
- Provide impeccable customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases and reference materials
- Enter and process import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and participating government agencies
- Maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements
- Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
- Work closely with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations, and customers to ensure high service levels
- Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings
- Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
