Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Six months of work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment such as phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and internal staff
- Must live within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for import entry
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs
- Data entry and processing of various import-related documentation
- Maintain and keep shipment documentation current and compliant
- Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations
- Work closely with internal departments, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high service levels
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Handle remote filings
- Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
