Job Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
  • Data entry and keyboarding skills required
  • Proficient with MS Office and Outlook
  • Ability to use office equipment including phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must handle high volume and time-sensitive work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management
  • Must live within 50 miles of Springfield, MO

Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for import entry
  • Provide impeccable customer service to clients and internal departments
  • Obtain accurate classification of goods for customs release using various resources
  • Perform data entry and processing of import documents for submission to US Customs and PGAs
  • Maintain shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
  • Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high service levels
  • Process agency brokerage shipments and handle remote filings as needed
  • Follow all government and company policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
