Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior industry experience required
- Minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
- Data entry and keyboard experience required
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications such as Outlook using multiple screens and windows
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to use multiple systems and reference material
- Strong customer interaction skills with brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management of all levels

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for goods entry
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Obtain accurate classification of goods for customs release
- Enter and process import-related documentation for submission to US Customs
- Handle participating government agencies (PGAs) documentation
- Maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
- Collaborate with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations, and customers
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Manage remote filings
- Ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
