Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- no prior industry experience required
- minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
- data entry and keyboard experience required
- proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
- experience with office equipment including phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- problem-solving skills
- ability to manage high volume and time-sensitive work
- ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- ability to use multiple systems and reference materials
- experience interacting with diverse stakeholders including customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required for US Customs and Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- provide impeccable customer service
- obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from various resources
- perform data entry and process import-related documentation for submission to US Customs
- maintain and update shipping documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- adhere to international importing and exporting regulations
- collaborate with internal staff, departments, FedEx operations, customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies
- process agency brokerage shipments
- handle remote filings as needed
- ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
- perform other duties as assigned
