Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- minimum of 6 months work experience preferred
- data entry and keyboard experience required
- proficiency in MS Office and Outlook required
- experience with office equipment required
- excellent communication skills required
- good organizational and interpersonal skills required
- strong problem-solving skills required
- ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work required
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
- ability to use multiple systems and reference materials required
- must live within 50 miles of Los Angeles, California
- availability to work Tuesday-Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm PT
- ability to interact effectively with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels

Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and Government Agencies for goods entry into the US on behalf of importers
- provide impeccable customer service
- obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet or customs
- perform data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs
- handle all Participating Government Agency shipments
- maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- adhere to international import and export regulations
- collaborate with internal departments, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high service levels
- process agency brokerage shipments
- handle remote filings
- ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
- perform other assigned duties
