Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff book, internet or customs
- Perform data entry and process import related documentation for submission to US Customs
- Handle limited participating Government Agencies shipments
- Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements
- Adhere to all international importing regulations
- Work closely with internal staff and departments to ensure high levels of service
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed
- Perform other duties as assigned
