Job Duties
- Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for goods entry into the US
- provide impeccable customer service
- obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs
- perform data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs
- handle limited participating government agencies shipments
- maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- adhere to international importing regulations
- collaborate with internal staff and departments to deliver high-level customer service
- process agency brokerage shipments
- ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
- perform other duties as assigned
