Job Duties

  • Coordinate documentation required by US Customs and government agencies for goods entry into the US
  • provide impeccable customer service
  • obtain correct classification of goods for customs release using databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs
  • perform data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs
  • handle limited participating government agencies shipments
  • maintain and update shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
  • adhere to international importing regulations
  • collaborate with internal staff and departments to deliver high-level customer service
  • process agency brokerage shipments
  • ensure compliance with government and organizational policies
  • perform other duties as assigned
