Job Requirements

  • Professional degree preferably in economics, law or similar
  • experience related to customs compliance preferably in manufacturing and distribution
  • sound understanding of customs processes including determination of origin and classification
  • strong analytical skills
  • hands-on mentality
  • solution-oriented behavior
  • ability to prioritize tasks
  • team player
  • fluent in English
  • SAP experience a plus
  • knowledge of global trade management software a plus

Job Duties

  • Proactively manage day to day customs processes
  • liaise closely with business stakeholders for alignment and support on initiatives
  • support customs escalations including coordination between SPOCs, brokers, carriers, and internal/external stakeholders
  • identify, report and register incidents and follow up on corrective controls
  • assist on classification of new products and determination of preferential origin
  • process customs related payments in systems
  • collect and collate customs data from sites and brokers
  • follow up on Long Term Suppliers Declarations procurement
  • monitor and support proper export closure
  • support customs related projects
