Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/GED with minimum 3 years experience in customs Foreign Trade Zone processes
  • Ability to communicate verbal and written in English
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or high school diploma/GED with minimum 3 years of experience in customs Foreign Trade Zone processes
  • Ability to communicate verbal and written in English
  • Experience with tariff classification, free trade agreements and country of origin determination
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment
  • Proven ability to execute, multi-task and deliver on commitments
  • Experience with global trade management systems
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified
  • Oracle order management experience
  • Licensed Customs Broker preferred

Job Duties

  • Support the liaison for the FTZ with Customs and Border Protection including support for audits
  • Manage and audit daily FTZ admissions and ensure accurate weekly customs entries
  • Reconcile inventory records between commercial and Foreign Trade Zone systems and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain standard operating procedures, FTZ files and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Perform internal audits of FTZ operations and maintain an audit system to verify site compliance
  • Prepare and submit periodic FTZ reports including Blanket CBP Form 216 and Annual Reconciliation
  • Coordinate and maintain updated product data including descriptions, tariff codes and compliance details
  • Serve as liaison with internal departments and external providers to ensure FTZ documentation accuracy
  • Lead key performance reviews and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance and improvement
