Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED with minimum 7 years customs Foreign Trade Zone experience
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • No sponsorship for employment visas
  • Experience with customs Foreign Trade Zone processes
  • Knowledge of Customs regulations and FTZ Board regulations
  • Familiarity with audit processes and compliance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
  • Experience with tariff classification and customs compliance programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and global team environments
  • Proven ability to execute tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with global trade management systems
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Oracle order management experience
  • Licensed Customs Broker preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage and audit daily FTZ admissions and ensure accurate weekly Customs entries
  • Reconcile inventory records between commercial and FTZ systems
  • Maintain SOPs and ensure record retention compliance
  • Perform internal audits of FTZ operations and maintain audit systems
  • Monitor and report FTZ-related cost savings and operational performance
  • Prepare and submit periodic FTZ reports including CBP forms and certification letters
  • Coordinate and maintain updated product data including tariff codes and compliance details
  • Serve as liaison with internal departments and external providers on FTZ documentation
  • Lead key performance reviews and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement
  • Use analytical thinking to resolve day-to-day problems and advise colleagues
