Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of related customs brokerage or import operations experience
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations
- Experience with FTZ shipment processing
- Proficiency in customs entry preparation and filing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with customs management systems and Microsoft Excel
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, international business or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customs brokerage, import operations or similar environment
- Familiarity with U.S. Customs Brokerage License is a plus
- Experience with FTZ processes, entry writing, tariff classification, post-entry corrections preferred
- Proficient in customs entry preparation and filing
- Skilled in import/export documentation review
- Understanding of FTZ admissions, operations, and CBP compliance
- Strong knowledge of customs laws, Free Trade Agreements, and ISF standards
- Effective broker and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience with ERP or customs management tools and advanced Excel
- Ability to perform post-entry audits and maintain compliance records
- Analytical mindset with process improvement capabilities
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Job Duties
- Prepare and validate customs entries using IKEA's systems, coordinate with brokers for timely submissions
- Monitor import and export clearance processes ensuring compliance
- Review import documentation and data for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage FTZ shipment processing ensuring accurate entry and compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams, brokers, and FTZ operators for timely filings
- Track and reconcile FTZ shipment movements maintaining records for CBP
- Analyze customs data to identify errors, risks, and opportunities for efficiency
- Drive corrective actions to maintain accuracy in customs declarations
- Collaborate on process improvements, update SOPs, implement best practices
- Partner with customs brokers, logistics providers, authorities, and internal teams
- Provide operational guidance and support to local markets
- Manage ISF compliance according to U.S. Customs requirements
- Stay current on trade regulations and support continuous procedural improvements
