Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in customs regulations and brokerage
  • Strong knowledge of US import regulations and trade compliance
  • Proven vendor management experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with trade compliance systems such as SAP is a plus
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze complex trade data and make strategic decisions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in customs regulations, clearance, and brokerage preferably in the technology industry
  • Deep knowledge of US import regulations, tariff classifications, country of origin, and valuation
  • Strong vendor management and influence skills
  • Proven experience in process improvements and compliance best practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and prioritization abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Experience with supply chain security programs (CTPAT, OEA) and duty drawback programs
  • Supervisory experience including delegation, training, and performance management preferred
  • MS or MBA degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead compliance excellence for US and Canadian customs and trade operations
  • Manage customs brokers and freight forwarders including performance reviews, SOPs, and scorecards
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate compliance risks
  • Provide strategic guidance on trade compliance and regulatory changes to global stakeholders
  • Develop, document, and enforce customs policies and procedures
  • Analyze trade data to monitor performance and quantify risks
  • Deliver training on compliance requirements and best practices to teams and partners
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, legal, and business units to align customs operations with corporate goals
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth
