Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage
- knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- proficiency in electronic filing systems
- strong organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- good communication skills
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- ability to use computer software including Google platform
- attention to detail
- diplomacy in handling stressful situations
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Computer literate (Google platform)
- Cargowise knowledge is a plus
- good communication skills in both English and Spanish is an asset

Job Duties
- Understanding of CFR 19
- maintain valid POA's
- electronic PGA filing
- filing entry summaries
- providing HTS guidance to clients
- ISF filing
- coordinate logistics with overseas agent
- follow up on ISF filing and submit ISF to Customs
- follow up on receiving Pre-Alert
- follow up with carriers to obtain Arrival Notice
- file Entry or pass along to the broker (if not handled by us)
- follow up on full Customs and Port Release
- arrange delivery if to be done by MGF
- maintain shipment files and ensure timely billing
