Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of entry writing experience
- 1 to 2 years in customs brokerage, imports, or export
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage data entry accurately
- Availability to work weekend or holiday schedules on rotation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational abilities

Job Duties
- Perform administrative tasks in the import operations department servicing clients and suppliers
- File break down, classify data entries, photocopy, scan and assemble entry documents
- Audit commercial documents, apply harmonized tariff schedule codes for duty assessment, and ensure federal compliance
- Review and verify accuracy of documents regarding country of origin, terms of sale, importer of record, and value
- Troubleshoot and communicate effectively with customers and foreign origins on documentation discrepancies
- Perform import air recoveries, check cutting, and delivery order creation
- Adhere to weekend or holiday schedules on rotation basis as required by operations
