Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, international business, supply chain management or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of experience in logistics, import/export operations or customs clearance
- Knowledge of R2 inventory software is an asset
- Proficiency with Office 365 including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Certification like CCS or CITP is preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, international business, supply chain management or equivalent
- Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) certification is a plus
- Minimum of five years of experience in logistics, import/export operations or customs clearance
- General technical knowledge of the audio-visual industry
- Knowledge of R2 inventory software is an asset
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Competence in interpreting customs documents, commercial invoices and product classification including tariff codes
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Understanding customs environment including products tariff classification, country of origin and duty applications
- Calculating duty impact to determine the appropriate type of customs entry in the U.S.
- Acting as the primary contact for U.S. Customs operations matters
- Issuing export documentation for all orders shipped out of the U.S.
- Ensuring weekly transfers to the Canadian division
- Demonstrating knowledge of Temporary Import Bonds (TIB) and ATA U.S. Carnets and handling all related documents and follow-up
- Assisting other departments with import and export inquiries
- Verifying and approving ACH preliminary reports and brokerage invoices
- Collaborating with external partners such as freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth export operations
- Participating actively in operational and sales meetings to align customs needs with project timelines
- Using the R2 rental inventory system to update asset information and track inventory during transit
- Advising management and asset coordination teams on necessary asset moves to stay compliant
- Maintaining import/export policies and procedures in collaboration with Global Trade Compliance
- Performing all other related tasks within the scope of the position and responsibilities
