Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Customs Broker License
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • knowledge of US CBP and PGA regulations
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • familiarity with import logistics and compliance documentation
  • capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • located in or willing to work hybrid in Monroe, NJ

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in similar operation, analytical, or transportation position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent work experience
  • Customs Broker License
  • intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • advanced Excel skills preferred
  • knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection regulations and Harmonized Tariff Schedule
  • understanding of Partner Government Agency regulations such as FDA and USDA
  • strong organization and time management skills
  • effective multitasking, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • self-starter with ability to work under deadlines
  • collaborative and customer-focused work style

Job Duties

  • Classification support for all imported items
  • request detailed information from vendors to support classification
  • assist with maintaining customs and PGA requirements
  • liaise with vendors, origin 3PL, and Customs Broker to ensure documentation availability
  • analyze daily reports for documentation completeness and on-time product flow
  • develop action plans to address service-related problems
  • liaise with Asia-origin teams and internal departments to communicate booking exceptions and manage lead times
  • coordinate and manage activities with customs brokers related to costing, tariff, and duty application
  • manage daily ocean and airfreight import operations addressing exceptions
  • update internal systems with compliance information
  • draft and maintain SOPs
  • generate KPIs and reports as requested
  • perform additional duties to support international logistics operations
