Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in customs brokerage or international trade operations including supervisory capacity
  • Strong expertise in U.S. customs laws and regulations including 19 CFR HTS classifications PGAs duty valuation
  • Bilingual in Korean and English

  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision making skills
  • Highly organized detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint
  • Experience with customs brokerage systems preferred
  • Bilingual in Korean and English is required

Job Duties

  • Supervise and oversee the customs brokerage department including the team of entry writers ensuring that operational goals and KPIs are met
  • Manage the import clearance workflow from customs entries and ISF filings to broker relationships audits billing and client communications
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. customs regulations partner government agencies trade policies and company SOPs
  • Review and improve department processes including work distribution quality control performance measurement and continuous improvement
  • Train coach and evaluate team members manage staffing workflow capacity and performance metrics
  • Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk shipments broker disputes compliance issues and audit findings
  • Partner with Sales Operations Finance and Legal teams to support new account onboarding client growth and service delivery
  • Maintain and enhance customs clearance systems reporting tools data analytics and entry tracking
  • Provide regular management reports on department performance cost control and compliance status
