Job Requirements
- HS or GED required
- Generally, 1 year of experience in related field
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Job Duties
- Classify dutiable import/export shipments to ensure compliance with all government agency rules and regulations
- Compute duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of merchandise that is imported or exported to foreign countries
- Process all requests for extensions, expiration, cancellation and all government entries
- Examine invoices, bills of lading and shipping documents to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Communicate with origin and destination locations regarding shipment status and special handling and delivery processes
- Apply for import/export permits and certificates of eligibility
- Provide information to and communicate with department of foreign affairs
- Generate invoices on a daily basis
- May receive and distribute all incoming/outgoing mail and correspondence
