Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 12 months of brokerage, transportation, or customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of HTS classification
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and other federal requirements
- Paid training provided

Job Duties
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Prepare, analyze, and/or submit documentation to appropriate parties ensuring compliance with customs laws
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems to prevent delays in freight movement
- Maintain relationships with brokers, trade and business service providers
- Resolve banking and letter of credit issues
- Advise customers on payment terms and obtain payments
- Resolve billing issues and coordinate post-entry activities
- Complete accurate data input and corrections
- Perform root cause analysis as directed
- Manage entry verification process
- Conduct correspondence with business partners via phone, email, or written communication
- Produce trend and operational reports
- Support account management activities
- Facilitate pre-arrival and post-arrival exception resolution
