Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 12 months of brokerage, transportation, or customer service experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and office equipment including phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive tasks
- Independent work capability with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of HTS classification and harmonized tariff system
- Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and federal requirements relevant to the role
- Willingness to comply with FedEx and regulatory screening requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States.

Job Duties
- Provide consistent customer service and resolution to ensure timely release and movement of freight
- Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation in compliance with customs laws and regulations
- Identify and resolve issues that could delay freight release or movement
- Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers to exceed customer service requirements
- Resolve banking and letter of credit problems
- Advise customers on payment terms and obtain payment on delinquent accounts
- Coordinate post-entry activities including billing issue resolution and entry verification
- Perform route cause analysis and produce operational trend reports
- Correspond with internal staff, customers, and business partners
- Support account administrators with account management and reconciliation
- Develop strong relationships with customer front-line personnel
- Facilitate entry processing and exception resolution
- Maintain knowledge of FedEx products and U.S. customs regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
