Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a customs brokerage
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, regulations, and related government agency procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the United States

- Customs Broker License preferred
- Strong attention to detail with accurate and rapid data entry skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Prepare customs entries and coordinate freight forwarding to designated destinations, working with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers
- Monitor and follow up on the clearance process for all prepared entries
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies, communicating effectively with clients and supervisors
- Arrange and track freight delivery to final locations
- Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues related to shipments
- Scan and upload customs entries into the imaging system within set deadlines
- Create reports, presentations, and data analysis using various software tools and databases
- Troubleshoot and address documentation issues through effective written and verbal communication with customers and foreign offices
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Work weekends on a rotational basis and follow a holiday schedule as required by operational needs
