Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of customs operations and regulations
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to work weekend or holiday shifts as required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic understanding of HS system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot documentation issues
  • Experience with customs documentation and compliance preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare customs entries and forward freight to designated locations
  • Prepare customs entries and follow up with the clearance process
  • Communicate documentation discrepancies to clients and supervisors
  • Coordinate freight delivery to designated locations
  • Resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues
  • File entries to customs via GBS-CM accurately and timely
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analyses using various software
  • Follow up daily on documentation discrepancies and troubleshoot issues
  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Work weekend or holiday schedules based on operational needs
