Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer

- ability to troubleshoot and communicate documentation discrepancies
- basic knowledge of customs laws and regulations
- basic computer proficiency
- high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- strong attention to detail

- basic knowledge of customs operations, laws, regulations, and other government departments
- basic computer skills
- basic understanding of harmonized system (HS) codes
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Prepare customs entries and follow up with clearance process on all entries prepared
- troubleshoot and communicate documentation discrepancies with clients and supervisors
- coordinate freight delivery to designated locations
- resolve finance and accounting reconciliation exchange issues
- file entries to customs via GBS-CM in a timely and accurate manner
- scan entries into imaging system meeting time requirements
- prepare reports, presentations, and analysis using various software packages and databases
- establish and maintain client relationships
- participate in department rotation schedules including weekends and holidays
