Job Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment such as phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high volume and time sensitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge in HTS classification
- Familiarity with U.S. Customs regulations and other federal regulations relevant to the role
- Paid training provided
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Prepare, analyze, and/or submit documentation to relevant parties in compliance with customs laws and regulations
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve freight release or movement problems
- Maintain relationships with brokers, trade and brokerage partners, and service providers
- Resolve banking, letter of credit, and billing issues
- Advise customers on payment terms and obtain payment on delinquent accounts
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate post-entry activities
- Manage entry verification process and access external client systems
- Correspond with business partners via written, phone, or email communication
- Produce operational trend reports and keep partners informed of exception processes
- Facilitate entry processing and pre-arrival and post-arrival exception resolution
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
