Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- six months of brokerage, transportation, or customer service experience preferred
- proficiency with MS Office and office equipment required
- excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- ability to handle high volume and time-sensitive work
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- detail oriented
- knowledge of harmonized tariff system and U.S. Customs regulations
- paid training provided

Job Duties
- Provide impeccable customer service
- prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to appropriate parties including U.S. Customs, agents, and clients
- anticipate, identify, and resolve problems delaying freight release or movement
- maintain relationships with brokers and service providers to ensure customer service requirements are exceeded
- resolve banking and letter of credit problems
- advise customers on payment terms
- obtain payment on delinquent accounts and complete accounting adjustments
- resolve billing issues and coordinate post-entry activities
- complete accurate data entry and perform route cause analysis
- manage entry verification process and access external client systems
- correspond with business partners through various communication mediums
- produce operational trend reports and keep partners updated on exception processes
- handle pre-alerts and respond according to customer SOP
- maintain knowledge of FedEx products and services
- interact with customers, internal staff, and management
- develop strong relationships with customer frontline personnel
- facilitate entry processing and exception resolution
- perform other duties as assigned
