Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in customs brokerage field
- Must be proficient with harmonized tariff schedule
- Proficient at classifying commodities
- Knowledge of antidumping and countervailing duties
- Up-to-date with Section 232, 301, 321 regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Drive, Google Docs
- Knowledge of incoterms
- Able to work overtime during peak times when problems arise and/or customer requirements modify
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Updated resume is required for consideration

Job Qualifications
- Valid customs broker license
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the customs brokerage field
- Proficiency with harmonized tariff schedule
- Strong knowledge of commodity classification
- Familiarity with antidumping and countervailing duties
- Up-to-date knowledge of Section 232, 301, 321 regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Google Docs
- Knowledge of incoterms
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Audit commercial documents applying harmonized tariff schedule code for accurate duty assessment and ensure all federal requirements are met
- Protest filing
- Post summary corrections
- Invoice customers for duty and entry charges
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness with all entries and daily operations
- Provide updates to U.S. Customs and customer
- Arrange for freight delivery of shipments
- Respond to daily emails and incoming calls
- Facilitate with CBP exams and responding to CBP requests
- Facilitate with CBP seizures
- U.S. Fish and Wildlife E-Declaration
- FDA, USDA, FCC, Lacey Act, Steel License, EPA, DOT, DEA, TTB, FSIS, NMFS compliance
- Provide and submit CBP binding rulings
- Drawback filings
- Inbound filings (IE, T&E, IT)
- Temporary in-bond filings
- Carnet
- Section 321 Type 86 filings
