Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to obtain required airport, state, or customs credentials
- must be able to constantly lift up to 70lbs and more, push, pull, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, reach out, grasp
- frequently climb and crawl
- must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- must be able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions including severe seasonal elements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities
- one year of relevant work experience in aviation or ground handling services preferred
Job Duties
- Leading a team of agents in customer service duties
- assist passengers with a friendly welcome through arrival and check-in process including support for special needs passengers
- handle all aspects of ticketing and check-in by operating computerized systems including boarding, baggage service, reservations, and resolving complaints
- direct passengers through customs, immigration, and quarantine
- assist ramp agents to ensure availability and delivery of wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags
- push wheelchairs with passengers through all airport areas
- monitor and enforce safe working conditions according to regulatory requirements and company policies
- promote and adhere to policies concerning safety, anti-harassment, and equal employment opportunity
- perform other related duties within skill and experience
- complete work safely following company safety and operational standards
- immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards
