Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- high school diploma or currently attending school
- some previous related volunteer or work experience in customer service or any satisfactory combination of education, experience, and training
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- ability to operate multi-line telephone systems
- knowledge of cashier and money handling procedures
- strong knowledge of customer service standards
- ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and professionally in person, by phone or email
- proficiency in basic math, spelling, and English grammar
- ability to organize and prioritize work with frequent interruptions
- ability to work independently and cooperatively
- ability to navigate difficult conversations and maintain rapport
- proficient in computer and office equipment use
- ability to work part-time up to 30 hours per week
- may require occasional evening and weekend work
- ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 15 pounds, crouching, bending, kneeling, or reaching
- availability to travel to multiple sites during the workday
- possession or ability to obtain valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days preferred

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service both externally and internally
- create a positive experience for customers through professional and courteous behavior and effective problem resolution
- answer multi-line telephone and greet occasional patrons at the front desk
- provide support for athletic programming, park and facility rental guidelines, and reservation processes
- assist with preparation and communication regarding contractual and use agreements with external partners
- utilize the district's registration software to process reservations for district rentals and manage athletic program details
- understand and process financial transactions relevant to rentals and athletic programs including reservations, registrations, refunds, and deposits
- provide program assistance for internal programming including communication with coaches and parents, enrollment adjustments and updates, and scheduling assistance
- maintain inventory of rental and program needs including certificates, supplies and equipment, first aid kits, and insurance documents
- perform various clerical duties such as data entry, word processing, filing, photocopying, printing facility use agreements, and roster management
- assist with internal and external schedule creation and management for events and athletics
- occasionally monitor program and rental sites and report any damage or cleaning needs
- identify and report safety concerns promptly
- perform emergency support as directed in the emergency action plan
- act as a Mandatory Reporter and report incidents of child abuse or neglect
- communicate and report safety concerns promptly
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
