Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • excellent customer service experience
  • one year medical environment experience
  • up to date on all vaccinations
  • ability to pass a drug test
  • ability to pass a background check
  • willingness to work specified shift hours
  • comfortable working in hospital and lab environments
  • availability to work Sunday through Wednesday shifts

Job Qualifications

  • excellent customer service experience
  • minimum one year medical environment experience
  • strong multitasking and typing skills
  • proficiency with computer systems and phone communication
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • compassionate and patient-focused communication skills

Job Duties

  • Work on computers and answer phones to intake patient information in a busy environment
  • manage multiple software programs and quickly type patient details
  • assist patients who may be ill or anxious by listening with compassion and building rapport
  • handle fast-paced tasks while coordinating with clinical staff during emergent situations
  • collect and verify patient and insurance information accurately
  • maintain composure during interruptions and unforeseen challenges
  • collaborate with the healthcare team to support seamless patient registration process
