Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Proficiency in email communication and MS Office
  • Ability to work onsite in Wichita, KS
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by law
  • Ability to manage multiple communication tasks efficiently
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 15 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience with email (preferably Outlook) and MS Office software
  • SAP experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform duties related to overall customer service and account management including logistics, contract management, and customer relations
  • Communicate professionally and effectively in writing and verbally to internal and external customers
  • Manage a large amount of written communication and data while complying with processes
  • Process customer repair orders and quotes following Standard Work procedures and redirect queries as needed
  • Coordinate and document receipt and repair of equipment in compliance with federal policies and procedures
  • Utilize enterprise system (SAP) to input or extract repair/material data
  • Assist in interface with intra-company departments regarding warranty, credit, billing, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of Collins products and organization to provide relevant customer support
  • Document customer service needs to identify patterns and maintain quality
  • Perform physical tasks involving movement, including boxing and unboxing items up to 15 lbs
