Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years experience in railcar maintenance planning and fleet management
- prior lead or supervisory experience
- knowledge of AAR and FRA rules and tank regulations
- understanding of SDS and safety rules
- strong communication skills
- computer proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- ability to multitask and organize
- attention to detail

- prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
- knowledge of AAR and FRA rules and tank regulations

Job Duties
- Serve as primary customer contact and answer customer questions related to railcar maintenance
- communicate customer expectations to production team and follow cars through production process
- maintain customer service key performance indicators and communicate to plant manager
- evaluate enroute notifications ensuring all necessary documentation is received
- prepare railcar files with appropriate forms and information
- assist in estimating repair costs and obtain customer approval
- attend production meetings and provide updates on car progress and changes
- update internal and external systems with car status changes
- ensure proper proof of delivery documentation and enter into systems
- coordinate with purchasing regarding material ETAs and notify customers of delays
- review car status versus proof of delivery and communicate issues
- process and update customer mechanical systems
- provide railcar status reports
- respond promptly to customer requests and maintain communication
- participate in customer conference calls and visits
- maintain CSR department documentation
- perform other duties as assigned
