Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three to four years related experience
  • Preferred three to four years industry experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to handle complex customer situations promptly and professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-specific software applications
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using US currency, weight, volume and distance measurements
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence
  • Skilled in gathering and analyzing information
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee customer’s freight through tracing and tracking
  • Maintain contact with airlines, trucking companies and agents to ensure smooth freight handling
  • Ensure service completion and provide proof of delivery
  • Manage customer support by responding to daily air export service requests
  • Notify customers of any shipping delays and issues
  • Prepare and assist with customer quotes
  • Perform data management tasks including shipment data entry, rate preparation and invoice House Air Way Bills
