Job Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • at least two years of experience in customer service, admissions/recruitment, event planning, or related field
  • ability to work a flexible schedule which may include nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • at least two years of experience in customer service, admissions/recruitment, event planning, or related field
  • knowledge and experience with office administration and reception
  • knowledge and experience with databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • ability to develop, interpret, and apply policies and procedures
  • ability to communicate both orally and in writing
  • ability to use customer service initiatives to clients and the campus community
  • independent worker and a team player
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule which may include nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Provide logistical support for event planning, implementation, and assessment
  • complete event and special project task list in a timely and precise manner
  • assist with overall customer service departmental goals by supporting other employees and/or student workers when needed
  • answer incoming calls and forward to the appropriate staff member if necessary and/or document all messages
  • process incoming and outgoing mail
  • assist with data entry, imaging, and electronic filing utilizing proprietary databases
  • pick up/deliver documents to UA Little Rock personnel on campus as needed
  • perform other duties as assigned
