Job Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years of age to sell tobacco products
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cash handling experience
- Customer service experience
- Training for Alcohol Professionals (TAP)
- Food Handlers Card or Food Workers Card
- Attended required training sessions and seminars
- Computer skills commensurate with job needs

Job Duties
- Provides exceptional customer service including pleasant greetings, smiling, making eye contact, soliciting additional sales, processing transactions accurately, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
- Responsible for all retail sales including selling tobacco in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations
- Opens and closes store as needed
- Handles cash and operates computer-based cash register
- Balances cash register at end of shift
- Secures all funds in safe or register
- Makes timely drops and maintains cash drawer within maximum levels as per company policies
- Performs daily station cleaning maintaining a safe work environment
- Complies with company standards on carding customers for age-restricted products
- Prepares food and drinks, cleans, stocks, and maintains food prep area in compliance with health codes
- Maintains inventory, restocks shelves, refills dispensing machines
- Ensures security of store items to aid in loss prevention
- Takes precautions to protect company assets
- Maintains store cleanliness and proper merchandising of packaged goods
- Ensures cash is reconciled and closing report completed on closing shifts
- Maintains courteous, professional contact with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community
- Ensures neat appearance and personal hygiene in compliance with company standards
- Preserves safety of self, employees, and others
- Conducts transactions and register duties accurately and quickly
- Performs daily cleaning duties inside and outside, prepares quality food products, stocks merchandise
- Communicates effectively with others
- Provides regular and predictable attendance
- Supports Store Manager
- Observes and complies with all company safety policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
