Job Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. 4 year degree or 10 to 15 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to sit for long periods
- Ability to handle average stress and multitask
- Availability Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm unless flextime approved
- Minimal travel may be required
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to work outside of regular schedule as needed
Job Qualifications
- 1-5 years experience in customer service
- Ability to manage small to large complex accounts
- Demonstrated record of customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal command of English or multilingual
- Ability to interpret emails, purchase orders, contracts, and reports
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficient phone etiquette and ability to respond promptly
- Competent in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to calculate figures such as price, volume, and percentages
- Problem-solving skills in practical scenarios
Job Duties
- Answer phones and respond to customer emails promptly
- Resolve customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
- Process customer orders accurately and identify root causes for errors
- Follow up consistently to expedite on-time delivery and resolve issues
- Gather facts to facilitate complaint resolution
- Monitor and manage consignment and outside terminal inventories to maintain adequate levels
