Job Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. 4 year degree or 10 to 15 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Ability to handle average stress and multitask
  • Availability Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm unless flextime approved
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work outside of regular schedule as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 1-5 years experience in customer service
  • Ability to manage small to large complex accounts
  • Demonstrated record of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal command of English or multilingual
  • Ability to interpret emails, purchase orders, contracts, and reports
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Proficient phone etiquette and ability to respond promptly
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to calculate figures such as price, volume, and percentages
  • Problem-solving skills in practical scenarios

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and respond to customer emails promptly
  • Resolve customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
  • Process customer orders accurately and identify root causes for errors
  • Follow up consistently to expedite on-time delivery and resolve issues
  • Gather facts to facilitate complaint resolution
  • Monitor and manage consignment and outside terminal inventories to maintain adequate levels
