Job Requirements

  • Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
  • work overtime when required
  • comply with all work rules and regulations
  • able to pass a basic written test
  • pass a DOT Pre-Employment Physical test
  • pass a criminal background and an airport /TSA background check
  • wear personal protective equipment as required
  • must have valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • must be able to pass SIDA (10 year) background check
  • ability to speak, read and understand English
  • organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • ability to handle dry ice
  • must be physically able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during an 8+ hour shift
  • must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or 10 lbs constantly
  • must be able to work in all types of weather
  • must be able to use fingers/hands to handle equipment
  • must be able to work all shifts including holidays, weekends and overnights

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to speak, read and understand English
  • organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • valid Massachusetts driver’s license
  • ability to handle dry ice
  • ability to pass a basic written test
  • ability to follow direction
  • strong communication skills
  • experience in customer service or related field is a plus
  • familiarity with safety protocols
  • good physical condition to perform job duties
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights
  • verify flight documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp
  • interact with other customer service team members to identify and resolve problems
  • interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service
  • show the customers the contents of the carts
  • meet the aircraft in the field
  • confirm position of carts
  • verify carts are packed correctly
  • ensure the customer (flight crew) has everything required to service their customers
  • comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes
  • dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines
  • follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact/communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary
