Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Graduate in any field preferred
  • At least 3 years of relevant and recent experience in freight forwarding operations and customer service
  • Solid cold chain understanding
  • Freight forwarding experience is mandatory

Job Duties

  • Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics
  • Assist with account start-up and liaise with sales to ensure required documentation and information for SOP are provided
  • Monitor and audit files weekly for compliance of estimate input, profit margin setting, and timely invoicing
  • Assist clients with day-to-day export/import documentation requests to ensure proper execution of transportation files
  • Provide clients with complete flight and sailing details to guarantee the proper flow of information
  • Liaise with airlines and ocean lines to procure the best possible solutions regarding capacity and cost
  • Collaborate with internal network and external partner agents to guarantee the best service assistance
  • Act quickly upon emergency situations arising within air and ocean transportation files
  • Coordinate with operations colleagues to ensure adequate support during workflow overloads
