Job Requirements
- Per Classified Civil Service specifications or equivalent education/experience
- One year of experience in customer service or communications
- Experience using computers and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task and work in a high-volume environment
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2 pm to 10 pm
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Successful completion of background check
- Potential drug screen or physical post-offer
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in customer service or communications
- Demonstrated experience using computers, file management, and document preparation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to perform in a high-volume environment
- Prior knowledge of aviation preferred
Job Duties
- Serve as first point of contact for customers at OSU Airport
- Prepare the full service fixed base operation for opening and/or closing
- Greet customers over phone or in person and answer questions about aviation program and FBO services
- Use two-way radio to dispatch customer requests to line service staff
- Refer customer service issues to higher authority for resolution
- Perform manual tasks related to retail services
- Provide clerical assistance with operations car rental services
- Maintain accurate and complete records of services and phone logs
- Register transient aircraft and pilots upon arrival and update electronic schedule board
- Communicate with private and corporate flight crews to meet customer demands
- Oversee scheduling, coordinating, and billing of Knowlton Flight Center meeting rooms
- Act as lead worker over student employees and assist with task assignments and instructions
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
