Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and climbing stairs frequently
  • Exposure to cleaning supplies and pet hair
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills including phone, in-person, and email
  • Ability to use multi-line phone systems and computer software
  • Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • People-person with a passion for pets
  • Ability to multitask effectively

Job Duties

  • Welcoming pet parents and their furry VIPs with warmth and professionalism
  • Answering phones with a smile and multitasking effectively
  • Touring new clients through the facility and selling pet care services
  • Ensuring vaccination records are up to date for all pets
  • Managing efficient check-ins and check-outs with a personal touch
  • Handling cash, cards, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day
  • Responding to client complaints with patience and professionalism
  • Escorting pets to and from their enclosures carefully
  • Keeping the lobby clean, welcoming, and ready for clients
  • Supporting team members whenever needed to ensure smooth operations
